Change the IAC and TPS Sensors for 95-99 Neons

by determining what needs to be removed to access your throttle body.
Things should include: Intake (AEM aftermarket Intake for mine), Vacuum
Hose(s), Battery (removal not needed for mine, but might make for a
little more room).
Remove the intake that is connected to the throttle body. I was able
to disconnect only the top section and still access the throttle body.
Now disconnect the negative cable on the battery. This will allow the
computer to find the sensor as new when it is connected again.
Once you can fully access the throttle body then start by removing the
two 13mm bolts holding it to the intake manifold. After those are taken
out then pull up on the throttle body and turn to the side to get it
out from the clutter. Once more accessible you now see the two sensors
attached to the left side and the throttle cable attached to the right.
If you are just wanting to change the sensors it can be done now, but
if you would like to completely remove the throttle body then you will
need to remove the throttle cable and the frame piece that it is attached
to (two small bolts).
Remove the connection(s) for the sensor(s). For each sensor there will
be a star shape screw driver needed. The larger copper colored one is
the IAC (Idle Air Controller) and the smaller black one is the TPS (Throttle
After changing the sensor(s) then reverse the process. Connect the battery
cable last and then start the engine.
